Fixing up previous shirt projects

February 26, 2018

At the end of last year and beginning of this year, I made two band collar short sleeve shirts. With both of them, I buggered up the collar and the front placket. Since then, I’ve learned how to sew them properly so I decided to go back and fix said shirts.

As I got to work, it became evident that it wasn’t going to be as easy as I thought it would be. In fact, this week was more fraught with problems than usual. I persevered, called out to Jesus for a bit of help and managed to finish up the revisions.

When done, I had certainly improved upon my old work. The new placket and collar aren’t perfect but there is improvement and progress so I am pleased with that. Life is about the journey and not the destination … am I right?!
